Use 2.4 GHz for email and browsing, and 5 GHz for bandwidth-intensive activities such as HD streaming and gaming. These are separate band rates, not a guaranteed 1.2 Gbps connection for one device.

Supported RE305 hardware and firmware can connect to an EasyMesh-compatible router to expand a mesh network using one Wi-Fi name. Smart roaming can help supported devices stay connected as you move between coverage areas.

Compatibility note: the supplied product box carries OneMesh branding, while the additional specifications describe EasyMesh. Confirm the exact hardware version, installed firmware and router compatibility before purchasing specifically for EasyMesh. Find a better installation spot

The intelligent signal light helps you choose a location with a suitable connection to your router. Blue indicates a good connection; red indicates the extender is too far from the router. Place it where it still receives a strong router signal rather than directly inside the dead zone.
